Step 1:Clean the Floor

Before paving, thoroughly clean the dust and debris on the surface of the plane. There should be no hollowing, cracking, and sanding on the plane. If these phenomena exist, they must be repaired before laying tiles.

Step 2:Snap Chalk Lines

Before laying wall tiles, the elevation control line must be popped up around the wall. Before laying floor tiles, we must first pop up cross lines on the ground to control the size of floor tiles.

Step 3:Pre-Laid Tiles

According to the design requirements, choose suitable tiles for pre-laying. Adjust the existing size, color, texture and other errors according to the actual situation until the best effect is achieved. Stack the tiles neatly for use in the order of pre-laying.

Step 4:Mix the Thin-Set Mortar

For tile paving, use 1:3 dry hard cement mortar, the thickness of the mortar should be about 25mm

Step 5:Place and lay the Tiles

Put the tiles on the cement mortar as required, and tap the surface of the tiles with a rubber hammer until the tiles are flat.

Step 6:Fill the Gaps in Tiles

After the tiles are laid, the jointing treatment should be carried out. The impurities in the crevices of the tiles should be cleaned up, and then the jointing treatment should be carried out with a special caulking agent.

Step 7:Clean the Tile Surface

In the process of laying tiles, you can do simple cleaning while laying. After 24 hours of paving, use cotton cloth to clean the surface of the tiles again.
